Fever Tree were a little-known band from Houston, Texas whose closest brush with fame and fortune was their 1968 #91 hit "San Francisco Girls (Return of the Native)". They managed to release 4 LPs, but never had any more success outside the ArkLaTex. Here's a track from their third LP Creation called "Love Makes the Sun Rise" that falls somewhere between the 13th Floor Elevators and Forever Changes. A nice piece of trippy Texas rock that, at the same time, sounds like it could have been pretty commercial. Definitely a lost gem.
